Whole30 Day 18

I found out one of my friends did the whole30 before. He said the only difference he felt was that it took more food to make him feel satiated while he was on it. No improvements. So that’s not very encouraging. Also on Friday I’m going to dinner with friends and I’m thinking about having them come over to my house instead of going out so I can better control what goes on my plate. Also I’m getting a little tired of sweet potatoes for breakfast. I can’t eat eggs and I can’t bring myself to eat “lunch” or “dinner” foods (savory) for breakfast. Any ideas?

Whole30 Day 17

After two weeks of being on the whole30, many people report “tiger blood” or a change in energy or some other massive improvement. I’ve been feeling down for no obvious reason since Sunday; I haven’t experienced tiger blood. It feels like the opposite. But I really thought about it today and one change I have noticed is my repetitive stress wrist injury seems to have healed. And I’ve been doing the same activities. So that’s kinda cool and I will finish this whole30 strong

Also I normally have chapped lips in the summer and my lips have been unusually moisturized. Probably because I’ve been eating more fat than normal. I put coconut oil in my coffee in the morning and cashew butter is my new favorite food.

Why are my lats so sore? I can’t think of anything I did with them yesterday. We did hip openers in yoga and that’s all I did all day.

I drank like an ounce of wine. It was complimentary at this restaurant where I ordered whole30 compliant potatoes and didn’t eat the complimentary truffle popcorn. I’m not starting over. I’m considering not finishing. I’m so over this. I want bread and ice-cream and chocolate.
